Residential Conveyancer / Newly Qualified Solicitor

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 DOE + Benefits
CRA Consulting are delighted to be working in partnership with a long-established and highly respected East Midlands law firm in the recruitment of a Residential Conveyancer / Newly Qualified Solicitor to join their growing property team based in Nottingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor or an experienced conveyancer with a minimum of two years' residential property experience to join a supportive and client-focused practice with an outstanding reputation for service, quality and professionalism. The firm has built its success on providing personal, proactive and ethical legal advice, with a strong emphasis on long-term client relationships and exceptional client care.
The Role
You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload with appropriate supervision and support, handling a broad range of matters including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Transfers of equity
- Remortgages
- New build transactions
- Shared ownership matters
- Right to Buy transactions
- Liaising directly with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties
- Providing an efficient and professional service throughout the transaction process
About You
Applications are welcomed from:
- Newly Qualified Solicitors with residential property experience gained during training
- Licensed Conveyancers
- Legal Executives
- Residential Conveyancers with a minimum of 2 years' fee-earning experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- The ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- A proactive and positive approach to client service
- A genuine desire to develop a long-term career within a respected regional practice
