This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer with at least 1 year PQE to manage their own caseload and further develop their career within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion and post-completion
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build transactions
- Providing clear and practical advice to clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documentation
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
- Conducting title investigations and reporting on title
- Ensuring compliance with AML regulations and firm procedures
- Managing exchange and completion processes efficiently
- Dealing with post-completion formalities including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
- Maintaining accurate records using the firm’s case management system
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 1 year PQE in residential conveyancing.
- Proven experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process from start to finish.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organisational ability.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in case management systems and general IT skills.
- A proactive, team-oriented approach.
