Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Residential Property Fee Earner to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to take ownership of their own caseload, deliver high-quality work, and contribute to maintaining and enhancing the firm’s strong reputation in residential conveyancing.
The role offers genuine long-term progression, with the potential to develop into a Head of Residential Property position for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion
- Handle a range of transactions including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers, and remortgages
- Deliver an excellent standard of client care, maintaining strong relationships and repeat business
- Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties in a professional and proactive manner
- Draft, review, and manage all conveyancing documentation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm procedures
- Contribute to the continued growth and reputation of the residential property department
Requirements
- Previous experience handling a residential conveyancing caseload (paralegal, fee earner, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and efficiently
- Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office
- A legal qualification (LLB, CILEx, LPC, SQE or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
