Restructuring & Insolvency Solicitor (NQ – 2 Years' PQE)

My client, a leading national Legal 100 law firm, is seeking a Newly Qualified to 2 years' PQE Solicitor to join its highly regarded Restructuring & Insolvency team based in Reading.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a nationally recognised practice advising a broad range of clients, including insolvency practitioners, lenders, corporates, directors, creditors and distressed businesses. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced partners and lawyers on a varied and high-quality caseload, gaining exposure to complex restructuring and insolvency matters while benefiting from excellent training and career development opportunities.
The Role
You will be involved in a broad range of restructuring and insolvency matters, including:
- Corporate restructuring and business recovery
- Corporate and personal insolvency
- Administrations, liquidations, receiverships and bankruptcies
- Advising insolvency practitioners throughout formal insolvency processes
- Acting for lenders, directors, creditors and distressed businesses
- Contentious insolvency matters, including recovery actions, antecedent transaction claims and director-related claims
- Security enforcement and asset recovery
- Supporting senior lawyers on complex, high-value and cross-disciplinary matters
The role offers early responsibility, regular client contact and the opportunity to contribute to business development initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors who are Newly Qualified up to 2 years' PQE and who can demonstrate:
- Experience in restructuring and insolvency gained during a training contract or post-qualification
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in restructuring and insolvency
- Strong technical ability and commercial awareness
- Excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach
- A commitment to delivering an excellent client service
