This role sits within an established Insolvency & Restructuring team, working closely with an experienced partner on complex non-contentious matters across a varied and commercially significant caseload.

The role
As an Insolvency & Restructuring Solicitor based in Glasgow, you'll work directly alongside an experienced partner on a broad range of non-contentious restructuring matters, with real scope to develop technical depth and take on increasing responsibility over time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting non-contentious restructuring work including group reorganisations, refinancings, debt restructuring and business and asset sales
- Assisting on formal insolvency processes and advising lenders, corporates and insolvency practitioners
- Drafting and negotiating transactional documentation
- Coordinating with colleagues across banking, corporate, real estate, tax and employment
- Building client relationships and contributing to business development activity
- Managing workstreams with guidance from senior colleagues
About you
This role would suit a Solicitor who:
- Has 2+ years' PQE in restructuring, banking or a related transactional area
- Has an interest in developing technical expertise in non-contentious restructuring
- Communicates clearly and has solid drafting skills
- Takes an organised, proactive approach and manages competing priorities effectively
- Brings a commercial mindset and is comfortable collaborating across teams
- Has experience advising lenders or insolvency practitioners — useful but not essential
