About the Role
- 21 hours per week, covering shifts between Monday and Sunday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
- This role is NOT suitable for those looking for only weekend or evening work
What You'll Be Doing
You'll get stuck into every part of café life, including:
- Giving customers a great first impression – greeting everyone with a smile and making sure no one is left waiting
- Taking orders at tables, and making sure every detail is right
- Delivering food and drinks to tables, ensuring everything needed is provided
- Working in the kitchen (full training given) to make scones, prepare simple meals, and follow recipes
- Clearing tables promptly and keeping the café spotless, following cleaning schedules
- Working in our on-site shop; serving cheese and other retail items, and making up hampers
What We're Looking For
- A background in customer service, hospitality, café, kitchen, or retail is helpful-but not essential, as full training will be given if you're keen to learn
- Reliable, friendly, and willing to try different tasks each day
- Flexible to work a range of shifts (occasional evenings, when hosting events)
