About the Role
As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day operation of the store, ensuring customers receive an outstanding experience while leading and developing your team to achieve their full potential.
A key part of the role involves managing a team that expands during peak trading periods. You'll recruit, train and support seasonal colleagues, creating an environment where people enjoy working and want to return year after year.
You'll be trusted to make decisions, solve problems and identify opportunities for improvement, operating with a high degree of autonomy while being supported by an experienced regional leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation and commercial performance of the store.
- Develop, motivate and coach colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Build a positive team culture that promotes engagement, retention and development.
- Recruit and onboard seasonal team members during peak periods.
- Plan and deliver successful retail events, promotions and busy trading periods.
- Manage stock, merchandising and operational processes.
- Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and results.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Maintain high visual merchandising and store presentation standards.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed.
About You
We're looking for a hands-on retail leader who enjoys supporting others and leading from the front.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience as a Manager, Assistant Manager or Retail Manager
- A strong interest & ability to lead and develop your own team
- The confidence to work independently and make sound decisions
- Experience managing busy trading periods, promotional events or seasonal operations
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- A positive, resilient and approachable leadership style
