Position: Risk and Compliance Manager
Location: Royal Arsenal, London, SE18 6FR
Working Hours:Monday to Friday
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)

Development Details:
This role will be based at Royal Arsenal, a beautiful riverside estate in Woolwich comprising of over 2800 luxury homes and a range of bespoke amenities including luxury spa and gym facilities. Located along the banks of the River Thames, the development is close to Woolwich Arsenal Station.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
As a Risk and Compliance Manager at Rendall & Rittner:
- You will have a strong hard services or compliance background having been responsible for risk management across fire risk assessments, general risk assessments, water risk assessments (legionella), building safety act etc.
- You are an expert in all things compliance with the ability to manage a varied and demanding workload. You will have experience dealing with large estates working with a high volume of compliance projects.
- Identify and mitigate risk highlighted in line with the time parameters set out in the assessment.
- You have high level contractor management experience, managing a range of different contractors and specialist throughout the process and ensuring quality, value and deliverance.
- You have a proven track record managing building M&E / plant facilities with a core focus on hard services.
- You will be computer literate with experience working on BMS systems and general software’s such as Microsoft packages etc. At Rendall and Rittner you will be using a system called Quooda.
- You will have demonstratable experience in supporting with onsite project management, this includes supervising contractors, reviewing RAMS, assisting with permit to work, monitoring checks and ensuring compliance at all stages.
- Updating and maintaining the H&S files and COSHH folders.
- Assessing potential risks and implementing measures to mitigate them such as a Disaster Action Recovery Plan (DARP) and safety protocols.
- You’ll ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and ensure statutory compliance.
- You have experience managing PPM’s and actioning any remedials as required.
- You’ll be a leader who cares passionately about creating a positive and most importantly a safe environment for residents, guests and your team.
- Your team matters to you, so you support them, working together, building strong working relationships with residents, guests and external contractors, ultimately supporting a strong unified working environment.
