We are seeking an experienced Risk & Stock Loss Manager to join a leading multi-channel retailer during a key period of operational and risk transformation.
This is a high-impact role responsible for stock control, cash compliance, and risk management across a multi-site retail estate. You will play a key role in protecting business assets, reducing loss, and strengthening governance and control frameworks.
You will define and deliver the stock and risk strategy, driving improvements in accuracy, compliance, and overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end stock control strategy across all sites
- Lead stock audits, counts, and stocktakes, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Analyse stock and performance data to identify shrinkage trends and risks
- Own cash management policy and ensure full compliance across all sites
- Oversee cash reconciliation, resolving discrepancies and escalating where required
- Develop and embed a store risk framework covering loss prevention, fraud, and security
- Maintain oversight of risk registers, incident reporting, and loss data
- Develop MI dashboards to track stock, cash, and risk performance
- Act as key contact for store and area managers on risk and stock issues
- Stay current with retail risk, loss prevention, and industry best practice
About You
- Experience in retail risk, stock control, loss prevention, or operational compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and drive action
- Proven leadership experience with ability to influence stakeholders
- Experience in multi-site or multi-channel retail environments
- Detail-focused, commercially aware, and operationally credible
- Calm, pragmatic approach with ability to challenge and drive improvement
