Risk & Insurance Manager (Real Estate) – Fixed-Term Contract
London (hybrid)

We are partnering with a leading global real estate services firm to appoint a Risk & Insurance Manager on a fixed-term contract. This is a role sitting in the UK/EMEA risk function, with day-to-day ownership of the firm's corporate insurance programmes and key broker relationships.

The opportunity

Working closely with the Head of Risk & Insurance, you will:

  • Manage corporate insurance programmes across property, liability and related lines, ensuring appropriate, cost-effective cover for a diverse UK and EMEA real estate portfolio.

  • Act as primary point of contact for brokers and insurers, coordinating renewals, endorsements and mid-term adjustments.

  • Oversee claims from notification through to settlement, working with internal stakeholders and external advisers to secure timely, commercial outcomes.

  • Support risk identification and mitigation across the property portfolio, feeding into renewal strategy and risk financing decisions.

  • Review contracts and lease documentation for insurance and indemnity provisions, escalating material issues and ensuring compliance with agreed standards.

  • Prepare MI and reports for senior management on claims trends, premium movements and key risk indicators.

About you

You will be an experienced insurance professional with:

  • A track record in corporate insurance management – either in-house, or from a broker handling real estate / property-owner risks.

  • Solid understanding of property and casualty insurance, ideally including experience with large or multi-site portfolios.

  • Evidence of hands-on claims management and comfort dealing with loss adjusters, brokers and underwriters.

  • Strong stakeholder skills – able to work with finance, legal, asset management and facilities teams, and to explain insurance concepts in plain language.
