Sales Administrator / Coordinator | Elland
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to join a growing business in Elland.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in customer service, sales administration, account coordination or order processing who enjoys being the central point of contact for customers and working closely with multiple teams to ensure everything runs smoothly.
THE ROLE
As a Sales Coordinator, you'll take ownership of customer accounts, managing enquiries, orders and ongoing requirements from start to finish. You'll work closely with operations, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure customer expectations are met while building long-term relationships and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries by telephone and email
- Processing customer orders and sample requests accurately and efficiently
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Coordinating customer requirements with internal teams
- Monitoring order progress and providing proactive updates
- Preparing and reviewing shipping and dispatch documentation
- Managing backorders and communicating updates to customers
- Investigating and resolving customer queries effectively
- Maintaining accurate customer records and system information
- Supporting invoicing, reporting and general administration
- Working collaboratively across departments to deliver excellent service
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this Sales Coordinator role, you will have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks
- A customer-focused and professional approach
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Grade C / 4 in GCSE Maths & English or equivalent
Previous experience within customer service, sales administration, account coordination, customer account management or order processing would be advantageous.
Experience within manufacturing, logistics or warehouse environments, along with knowledge of ERP systems such as Dynamics 365, would also be beneficial.
