Sales/Logistics Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales/Logistics Analyst to join a well established team in the Crawley area. This role involves working with internal customers from multiple sites, gathering and analysing data from ERP and other sources to develop solutions that support and manage the activities of Sales and Operations teams.
Day-to-day duties of the role:

Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyse ERP logistics data to identify process trends and improvement opportunities.
- Create and maintain reports on key logistics metrics.
- Provide actionable insights based on data.

Operations Optimisation:
- Work with logistics and supply chain teams to improve operational efficiency.
- Analyse sales orders, backlog and sales trends to recommend, develop, and implement improvements.
- Monitor and update key performance indicators (KPIs).

Inventory Management:
- Analyse stock movement and coverage.
- Collaborate with Procurement to analyse open Purchase Orders.
- Support optimisation of stock levels to reduce excess inventory and minimize stockouts.

Transportation & Delivery Coordination:
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods via analysis supporting sales and customer service teams.
- Analyse transportation costs and third-party logistics providers.

Vendor & Supplier Management:
- Review vendors and suppliers’ data to ensure smooth execution of logistics activities.
- Evaluate vendor performance data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, including purchasing, warehouse, sales teams, and ERP, to streamline logistics processes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Computer literate with proficiency in Office 365: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Microsoft D365, Access, SAP.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, self-motivated, organised.
- Competencies in relationship management, problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork.
