Adecco
We are looking for a proactive and organised Retail & Operations Assistant to join our team. This is a varied role combining customer-facing retail duties with back-office administration and warehouse coordination. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our store and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Placing supplier orders and managing stock levels
- Receiving and checking deliveries of curtains, blinds and fabrics into the shop, and carpets and flooring into the warehouse
- Accurately receipting deliveries and maintaining clear audit trails
- Monitoring and organising paperwork
- Updating both manual and computerised systems with product and delivery information
- Carrying out general administrative tasks including filing, email correspondence, and handling post
- Managing daily cashing up procedures
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming retail environment
- Undertaking light cleaning duties and assisting with store opening/closing procedures
Training & Development
- Participate in formal and informal training to support personal and professional development
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures, including the Employee Handbook

About You
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable handling both administrative tasks and physical stock deliveries
- Good IT skills and ability to work with systems and paperwork
- Positive, reliable, and a strong team player
- Willing to learn and take on varied tasks
