Hedge fund rate sales (Analytics platform) Sales – London, (Hybrid) This is a fast-growing FinTech firm leveraging cutting-edge tech and quantitative methods in the derivatives market. It works with some of the world's largest hedge funds and asset managers, providing analytics and execution for relative value, volatility, and macro strategies and has developed a innovative and market-leading IRD analytics platform.
Role overview: After proving the value and product market fit of this proprietary analytics platform the firm is now accelerating its rollout. You will be responsible for selling the analytics platform as well as onboarding and training new users.
The firm has established clients, typically hedge fund PMs and strategists seeking opportunities within IRD markets. Responsibilities: 1.
Selling the analytics platform to new clients. A target client list is established, and we have key connections at the ready – you will need to demo the platform to clients to sell additional licenses.
2. Onboarding and training clients.
Practically you will need to: · understand your users and their market analysis approach; · train them on the platform in a way tailored to their market approach; · communicate weekly with users to ensure they are capturing maximal value out the platform. 3.
Based on the above, you will develop the best practice for selling and onboarding users, as well as inform our product development efforts · This will include regular experimentation work with the VP of Operations and strategy; · Product feedback and alignment with our head of quantitative analytics; · Other ad-hoc projects depending on performance (Hiring additional sales staff in the US & Asia; automation wherever possible). You're a fit if: · You're highly technical in at least one of IRS / listed F+O; · You have experience in engaging with sell side and buy side clients – this is who you will be talking to on a daily basis; · You are relentless with a go-getter attitude, target clients are busy – you will need to capture their attention; · Driven and motivated to learn, build, deliver and engage with the team; · You have ambitions to grow and scale a sales team; · You're ready to roll your sleeves up in a growing fintech start-up.
Progression and compensation: · A successful candidate in this role can expect to quickly grow their sales team across the UK, Europe, the US and Asia – our ambitions are global.
