Robert Half Finance & Accounting are partnering with a leading Retail Business in London to recruit an immediate, Interim Sales Ledger Clerk for 3 months.
Role:
Our client is looking for an immediate interim Sales Ledger Clerk to assist them for 3 months. You will be responsible for following duties:
- Managed the end-to-end accounts receivable function for a customer portfolio of approximately 300 accounts.
- Raised and processed customer invoices accurately, including 5-10 complex multi-site invoices each month across multiple business locations.
- Prepared and issued multi-currency invoices, with a primary focus on Euro transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
- Performed daily customer account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
- Processed bank allocations and matched incoming customer receipts against outstanding invoices in a timely manner.
- Maintained the sales ledger by ensuring customer accounts were accurate, up to date, and fully reconciled.
- Monitored aged debt and proactively managed outstanding balances to support healthy cash flow and minimise overdue accounts.
- Chased outstanding payments through professional email communication, building positive customer relationships while ensuring prompt debt recovery.
- Worked closely with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice queries efficiently and minimise payment delays.
- Supported month-end reporting by maintaining accurate receivable records and ensuring all transactions were correctly recorded within the accounting system.
Profile:
The successful interim Sales Ledger Clerk will have a minimum of 2+ years experience
You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.
Salary & Benefits:
This role is paying between £16-£19p/h
