Position: Scheme Manager
Location: Lydon Court, Birmingham, B26 3PG
Working Hours: 2 day a week – 5-hour shifts
Salary: £7,800 – £8,800 per annum
Contract: A permanent position

A residential development in Sheldon, Birmingham, B26, with secure entry, communal areas and convenient access to local amenities. Birmingham International station is within easy reach.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
As a Scheme Manager at Rendall & Rittner, you will:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, acting as the primary point of contact for all scheme communications and wellbeing needs.
- Conduct weekly wellbeing calls and settling-in visits, ensuring residents feel supported and well-informed from day one.
- Carry out and accurately record weekly compliance checks, including Fire Risk and Fire Safety, ensuring all actions are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Manage all Health & Safety requirements across the scheme, ensuring full regulatory and contractual compliance at all times.
- Oversee planned and unplanned programmes of work, holding contractors to specification and ensuring value for money is delivered.
- Lead on contract management, including regular estate inspections, breach escalation, and working with the procurement team to develop and manage tenders.
- Monitor scheme budgets throughout the financial year, ensuring capital expenditure is delivered on time and within agreed budget levels.
- Respond to resident complaints and lease breaches professionally and support the assignment and purchase process for new occupants.
- Represent R&R and Midland Heart at internal and external meetings, taking accurate minutes and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide day-to-day supervision of a part-time Administrator, alongside cover for absent Scheme Managers when required.
