Fixed-Term Contract – 1 Year
A welcoming and community-focused primary school within a well-established multi-academy trust is seeking a reliable and proactive Part-Time Caretaker to join its team on a fixed-term basis for one year.
Working Pattern
- Tuesdays and Thursdays
- All year round role
- Fixed-term contract for 12 months
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure and well-presented learning environment for pupils, staff and visitors. Responsibilities will include:
- Opening and securing the school premises
- Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
- Monitoring health and safety across the site
- Managing contractors and supporting site inspections
- Ensuring the school grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard
- Supporting with cleaning, deliveries and general site duties as required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has practical maintenance or caretaking experience
- Is dependable, organised and able to work independently
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards
- Has a strong understanding of health and safety responsibilities
- Enjoys working as part of a dedicated school team
