Pastoral Support Officer – Full Time (5 Days per Week)
Location: Lambeth

We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Officer to join a welcoming and supportive school in Lambeth on a full-time basis (5 days per week). The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a pastoral support role within a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, behaviour management, and student wellbeing.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, resilient, and empathetic approach.
- A degree is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pastoral support to students, promoting their wellbeing, attendance, and engagement.
- Build positive relationships with students, families, and external agencies.
- Support behaviour management strategies and help create a positive learning environment.
- Work closely with teaching staff and the safeguarding team to ensure students receive appropriate support.
- Monitor student progress and contribute to intervention plans.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding procedures at all times.
