Science ECT – The Role
A secondary school in Slough is seeking to appoint a motivated and ambitious Science ECT to join their Science department from September on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3, KS4 and KS5, delivering engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students of all abilities. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and creating a positive learning environment that encourages academic success.
As an Early Career Teacher, you will benefit from a structured induction programme, dedicated mentoring, and ongoing professional development to help you build confidence and develop your teaching practice.
The School
This is a mixed mainstream secondary school in Slough, educating approximately 600 students aged 11–18. The school was rated Good in its most recent Ofsted inspection, with Outstanding judgements awarded for Personal Development and Behaviour & Attitudes.
