Special Needs Teacher – SCIENCE Biology Lambeth
A inclusive specialist school for autistic children and young people aged 11 to 19. Are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Science to join their Science Department and teach Key 1 Stage to Key Stage 4 level.
Position: Teacher of Science Department: Science Education Stage: Secondary Curriculum: Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4 Minimum Experience: 2 years
Job Description: As a Teacher of Science, bringing your speciality, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that inspire students. You will plan, prepare, and deliver the curriculum in line with school policies while supporting student progress through assessment and feedback. The role requires collaboration with colleagues within the department to enhance teaching practices and contribute to departmental development.
Skills and Qualifications: – A minimum of two years' teaching experience in secondary education. – Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. – Strong knowledge of the whole national curriculum. – Ability to plan lessons that meet diverse learner needs. – Effective classroom management skills. – Competence in using educational technology as part of teaching practice. – Good communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
