Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school (11–16) in the Southampton area to recruit a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher. The Role

As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Inspire curiosity and a passion for learning across Biology, Chemistry and Physics
  • Contribute to an ambitious and well-structured curriculum, including opportunities such as triple science
  • Support the development of all learners, including SEND and disadvantaged students
  • Contribute to enrichment activities and the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
  • Has experience teaching Science at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply)
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for science education
  • Can create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Is committed to high expectations and continuous improvement
  • Works well as part of a collaborative staff team
