Science Teacher – Learning and Assessment Full Time, Permanent Negotiable depending on experience Start date: September 2026
We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our community to take on the position of Science Teacher with responsibility for Learning and Assessment.
The appointed candidate will work with children (aged 7 to 18) with key responsibilities to include designing and delivering high-quality teaching and learning across a range of programmes and the delivery of associated assessment, administration and support for learning. You will also manage and develop a given class through the delivery of a key stage appropriate curriculum and ensure high levels of engagement with staff, pupils, parents and the wider learning communities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to lead on assessment and data and ensuring that pupils' academic needs are prioritised. You will also have the opportunity to join SLT and to further develop your skillset.
Finding the right person for this position is key for us and our pupils. The successful candidate will have: * QTS (Essential) * Evidence of successful and innovative teaching across a range of key stages (Essential) * A passion for Science with the knowledge and skills to inspire pupils (Essential) * Experience working with pupils with SEN and awareness of how to adapt learning to meet the needs of the child (Essential) * Evidence of effective delivery in primary education (Desirable) * Evidence of contribution to whole school development, especially PSHE and careers (Desirable)
