Science Teacher Required – September Start
Spencer Clarke Group is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream secondary school in the Haydock area from September on a long-term temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a real impact within a well-established Science department, teaching students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is committed to providing a high-quality education and is looking for a teacher who can inspire a love of science and support students in achieving their full potential.
Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, we would love to hear from qualified teachers who are committed to delivering engaging and effective lessons.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing support where needed.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department and wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
- Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Science.
- Can engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
- Is committed to raising attainment and supporting student development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
