Science Technician – Full-Time (5 Days per Week) | Lambeth

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Science Technician to join a welcoming secondary school in Lambeth on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a Science Technician in a school or similar setting.
- Strong scientific knowledge and practical laboratory skills.
- A relevant degree (preferred).
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, set up and clear away equipment and materials for practical science lessons.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure resources are stocked and organised.
- Support teachers with practical demonstrations and experiments.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, including COSHH regulations.
- Assist with the safe storage and disposal of chemicals and biological materials.
- Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the Science department.
