Looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle? Whether you're an experienced educator, a university student, a graduate considering a career in teaching, or someone with strong KS3/KS4 subject knowledge and the confidence to lead a classroom, we'd love to hear from you.

We're recruiting Secondary Cover Supervisors to support our Leicester schools on an agency basis. Lesson plans are provided, so your role is to confidently deliver pre-planned work, manage classroom behaviour, and keep students engaged across a range of KS3 and KS4 subjects.

What you need to know:

  • You must be flexible and available for short-notice bookings, including hourly cover, half-day and full-day assignments, depending on school needs.
  • Typical hours fall within 8:30am–3:30pm, but cover requirements will vary. If this level of flexibility doesn't suit your circumstances, this role may not be the right fit.
  • Pay rates of £20–£25 per hour.

Essential requirements:

  • Confidence leading a classroom and managing behaviour.
  • Willingness to teach across a variety of KS3/KS4 subjects using pre-planned lessons.
  • An Enhanced Child Only DBS registered to the Update Service. If you don't currently have one, you must be willing to apply for one. Please note, the cost cannot be covered by the agency, but it is essential for working within our partner schools.

If you're adaptable, reliable, and ready to make a difference in local secondary schools, apply today and start building valuable experience while enjoying the flexibility agency work can offer.
