We are representing a thriving secondary academy in Tunbridge Wells that is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Maths to join their committed and forward-thinking team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and reflective practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality mathematics teaching and supporting students to achieve their full potential.
The Role:
- Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available for the right candidate)
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that challenge and support all learners
- Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and promote progress
- Contribute positively to a collaborative department and wider school community
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified teacher of Maths (QTS or equivalent)
- Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to continual professional development
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
- A reflective practitioner who values consistency, fairness and high standards
- ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
