Science Teacher – Physics Specialism

We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher with a specialism in Physics for short-term cover at our academy. This role involves teaching Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 (A Level) and is not suitable for ECTs (NQTs).
Day-to-day of the role:
- Teach Physics to students at Key Stage 3, 4, and A Level.
- Follow the academy's curriculum and standards to deliver high-quality lessons.
- Engage and motivate students to achieve their highest potential.
- Manage classroom settings and ensure a conducive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – candidates without QTS will not be considered.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
- A minimum of two satisfactory references.
- Must be available to start in September 2026.
- Previous experience in teaching Physics at secondary school level is essential.
