Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and security of a vibrant college community? We are seeking a dedicated part-time Campus Security Officer/Security Guard to join our team in Walthamstow, East London.
Imagine working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.45pm, in a dynamic environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities. You'll be part of a team of five highly experienced Security Officers, committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, contractors, and visitors.
This role offers a competitive pay of £14.50 per hour. Your responsibilities will include:
- Meeting and greeting students, staff, contractors, and visitors
- Intelligence gathering to prevent and diffuse situations
- Conducting body and bag searches
- Crowd and access control
- Site patrols and car park monitoring
- Incident intervention and report writing
We are looking for individuals with a valid Door Supervisor Licence, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for working with young people. Previous security experience and the ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check are essential.
