The Role – SEMH LSA
Seeking a resilient and proactive SEMH LSA to support pupils aged 5-16 within a specialist SEMH setting. You will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils regulate emotions, manage behaviour and engage positively with learning. The role involves implementing behaviour support strategies, supporting emotional wellbeing, promoting positive behaviour and contributing to a structured and supportive learning environment where pupils can thrive both academically and socially.
The School – SEMH LSA
This specialist provision is located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and is within walking distance of a nearby National Rail station. The school supports pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, many of whom have experienced barriers to learning and disrupted education. The provision offers personalised learning, strong pastoral support and a nurturing environment focused on behaviour, wellbeing and positive outcomes. The school was judged 'Good' at its most recent Ofsted inspection in 2023.
