The SEMH Teaching Assistant will provide tailored support to pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them build confidence, resilience, and positive coping strategies. The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will play a vital role in creating a calm and supportive learning environment.
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs
* Help students develop emotional regulation and resilience

* Build strong and trusting relationships with pupils

* Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and external agencies
The school is looking for a compassionate and proactive SEMH Teaching Assistant who is committed to helping young people overcome challenges. Previous experience within education, care, youth work, mentoring, or mental health support would be advantageous.
