SEMH Tutor Required – 1:1 Support
Job Details We are seeking a resilient and experienced Tutor to support a 17-year-old student with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis. The student has a history of behavioural challenges and has been diagnosed with ADHD and Aspergers syndrome, resulting in difficulties with emotional regulation, confidence, and concentration. · Location: PO14 4TG · Hours: 6 hours per week · Start Date: ASAP · Type: 1:1 Tuition This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact by providing consistent, tailored support in a structured and positive environment.
Requirements · Experience working with SEND needs and/or challenging behaviour · Knowledge of ADHD and autism spectrum conditions (ASC) · Calm, patient, and resilient approach · Ability to build trust and positive relationships with young people · Strong behaviour management and emotional support skills · Experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring preferred · Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
