A growing accountancy practice in Dudley is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant who is actively progressing through ACCA or ACA studies and has solid experience within a practice environment.
This is a development-focused role offering exposure to complex accounts preparation, and increasing client responsibility within a supportive but fast-paced team with full ACCA/ACA study support with structured progression
You will be given increasing responsibility as you progress, with clear support towards qualification completion and senior-level exposure
Role Responsibilities
- Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Prepare management accounts for a varied client portfolio
- Complete VAT returns accurately and in line with compliance requirements
- Support bookkeeping and maintenance of client records
- Liaise with clients and respond to day-to-day queries
Personal Requirements
- AAT qualified or ACCA/ACA part qualified (or actively studying)
- Experience working in an accountancy practice environment
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
- Good communication and client-facing skills
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage workload independently
