Semi-Senior Accountant
Leigh-on-Sea | £28,000–£35,000 DOE | Full-time
A great opportunity for a motivated Semi-Senior Accountant to join a friendly, growing practice in Leigh-on-Sea. This role is ideal for someone with solid practice experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.
The Role
You’ll support a varied client portfolio and handle a broad range of accounting duties, including:
- Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger
- Nominal Ledger reconciliation
- Payroll processing
- CIS returns
- Supporting senior accountants with general practice work
About You
We’re looking for someone with strong technical skills and a proactive approach.
You must have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
- Good working knowledge of Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and similar systems
- Experience across ledgers, payroll and CIS
You may be:
- QBE, qualified or part-qualified
