Sharp Consultancy is pleased to be partnering with a well-established national firm with a strong Yorkshire presence in their search for a Semi-Senior Accountant.
In this role, you will work closely with Directors within the business, supporting the preparation of accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT returns. The position is focused on development and progression, offering the opportunity to broaden your client exposure within a supportive, hands-on environment led by a senior team that prioritises both individual and collective growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounts professional with prior practice experience who is looking to take the next step within a reputable and established firm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Direct liaison with SME clients, acting as a key point of contact and handling queries
- Preparation of management accounts
- Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
- Supporting senior team members on client assignments
About you:
- AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part qualified
- Strong communication skills
- Personable, ambitious, and keen to progress
