Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a mainstream secondary school in North Liverpool to recruit SEN Teaching Assistants for the September 2026 start. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive and inclusive school environment.
We are looking for dedicated, resilient, and compassionate individuals to support students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), and learning difficulties.
The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs
- Help to adapt classroom activities to meet individual learning requirements
- Support students with behavioural and emotional regulation
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement support strategies
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Who We’re Looking For:

- Psychology graduates or those with relevant academic backgrounds

- Youth Support Workers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
