SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant

This role enables the successful candidate to access valuable training, teaching experience and the opportunity to work alongside a fantastic team. The right person for the position will be able to improve the academic experience and development of young people.
SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant Job Description:
- £97 – £115 per day.
- Monday to Friday (no weekends).
- Full-time, Long-Term.
- Based in Newham
- Start ASAP.
SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant Role:
- Assisting teaching staff in the classroom with learning.
- Working closely with individual students and small groups with additional needs.
- Providing support to young people with SEN/SEMH needs to eliminate barriers within the curriculum and making learning more accessible.
The Ideal Candidate for the SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant Role will have:
- A degree-level qualification.
- Previous experience working with children, including those with SEN/SEMH needs.
- A desire to kickstart their career in teaching, educational psychology, mental health, special educational needs and more!
