SEN Secondary Teacher – Make a Real Difference

Are you a passionate and resilient teacher ready to transform lives? We’re recruiting for a dynamic SEN Secondary Teacher to join a dedicated and supportive specialist setting in Ashford.

The Role
You’ll be teaching small classes of secondary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH and complex learning differences. Every day will be varied, meaningful, and rewarding.
You will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Work collaboratively with a skilled team of support staff and therapists
- Play a key role in helping students develop both academically and personally
? What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with SEN, SEMH, or in a specialist setting (desirable, not essential)
- A calm, patient and adaptable approach
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
- Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
