SEN Teacher Opportunity – Make a Real Difference
Location: Mansfield area
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week, term time only)
Salary: M1 – M6 (£32,916 to £45,352 per annum, dependent on experience)

We are working with a specialist independent education provider supporting children and young people aged 7–19 with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
The school operates across two adjoining sites, delivering a highly personalised, holistic approach to education. With small group sizes and a focus on multi-sensory learning, the environment is designed to help students re-engage, rebuild confidence, and achieve their full potential.

The Role
We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and dedicated SEN Teacher to join this supportive team.
You will:
- Teach learners in small groups, delivering engaging and flexible lessons
- Create individualised learning programmes tailored to each student
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide innovative, multi-sensory teaching approaches
- Occasionally support across additional local sites if required

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and review personalised lesson plans and schemes of work
- Use creative and adaptable teaching strategies to maximise engagement
- Promote student voice and involve learners in their education
- Maintain a strong focus on safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion
- Support assessment, tracking, and reporting (including EHCPs)
- Contribute to curriculum development and improvement
- Maintain accurate records and reports for relevant commissioning bodies
- Engage in continuous professional development

Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- SEN teaching experience (preferred)
- Relevant Level 6 qualification

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
