Teaching Personnel

Teacher – Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Daily Rate: £120 – £251.72 (PAYE)

We are currently working in partnership with a highly supportive and inclusive specialist provision seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team.

This setting provides education for children and young people aged 3–19 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), supporting a wide range of needs including moderate to severe learning difficulties, complex needs, profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), and Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

The school prides itself on its nurturing and collaborative environment, where staff are committed to supporting both the wellbeing and development of every learner. The focus is on enabling pupils to achieve as much independence as possible, with a strong emphasis on communication, social development, engagement, and essential life skills.

The role:

  • Deliver tailored lessons to meet a diverse range of learning needs
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families
  • Support pupils’ personal development as well as academic progress

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working within SEN settings (or a strong interest in this area)
  • Have a Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
  • Be compassionate, patient, and adaptable in their approach
  • Have a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
  • Be committed to making a meaningful difference in students’ lives

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
