Supply Teaching Assistant (SEND)

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Supply SEND Teaching Assistant to work across schools in the Darlington area from September for the Autumn Term.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and is looking for flexible, rewarding work within education.
The Role:
– Supporting pupils with a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs
– Working 1:1 or in small groups to provide tailored support
– Assisting the class teacher to create an inclusive learning environment
– Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning
The Ideal Candidate Will:
– Have experience working with children or young people with SEND
– Be patient, adaptable, and nurturing in their approach
– Have strong communication and teamwork skills
– Be committed to making a positive impact on pupils’ development
