As an SEN Teaching Assistan in Hemel Hempstead, you will work closely with non-verbal pupils and pupils with complex needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, supporting both their academic progress and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide both in-class and 1:1 support for pupils with ASD and additional needs. * Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons. * Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment. * Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils. * Support students' emotional wellbeing and academic progress throughout the day.

The Ideal Candidate

* A patient, nurturing, and reliable individual. * Previous experience supporting children with SEN (essential). * Experience working in a school or with children in a similar setting. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Flexible, dependable, and committed.
