A welcoming school in Bedford is currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time contract until December 2026. The school is looking for a strong, resilient, and driven SEN Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships and provide consistent support to pupils with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH difficulties. You will play a key role in helping students in Bedford access learning, regulate emotions, and develop confidence within the school environment.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide dedicated support to pupils with SEN and behavioural needs, helping them engage positively within the classroom and wider school community. The role will involve promoting emotional regulation, encouraging positive behaviour strategies, and supporting both social and academic development.
Responsibilities of a SEN Teaching Assistant in Bedford:
