As a SEN Teaching Assistant in Hememl Hempstead , you will work closely with pupils in the classroom and through individual support sessions, helping them feel safe, confident, and fully engaged in their learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide classroom and 1:1 support for pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other additional learning needs.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and adapting learning activities to meet individual needs.
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage confidence and independence.
- Support pupils' emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and academic progress throughout the school day.
