EN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Medical & Complex Needs) – Enfield

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming secondary school in Enfield for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a student with complex medical and physical needs.
This full-time role offers the chance to have a lasting impact on a young person's education while working within a supportive SEN team.
The Role
You will provide full wraparound support including:
- Morning and afternoon transition support
- Personal care and toileting assistance
- Feeding support during breaks
- Ensuring strict allergy protocols are followed
- Supporting learning inside and outside the classroom
- Building confidence and independence
- Working collaboratively with school staff and external professionals
Hours are 8:00am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
You Will Need
- Previous SEN, care or support experience
- Confidence providing personal care
- A patient, empathetic approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliability and professionalism
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
