The Supply Register are recruiting a caring, enthusiastic, and committed KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Leicester (LE6). This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the learning and development of pupils across Key Stage 2.
Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you will help create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning within Key Stage 2 classrooms.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence.
- Support pupils with a range of learning needs, ensuring all children can access the curriculum.
- Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress.
- Supervise pupils during breaktimes, educational visits, and school activities when required.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within Key Stage 2.
- Is enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about supporting children's learning.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Works well as part of a team and can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Is organised, reliable, and proactive.
- Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable, but not essential).
