SEN Teaching Assistant – West Hampstead

Educo Recruitment are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in West Hampstead who are looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive school, making a genuine difference to the lives of children with Special Educational Needs.
The Role
- Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD and Speech & Language needs.
- Providing 1:1 and small group support both in and out of the classroom.
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning and interventions.
- Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
- Helping pupils access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school.
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Passionate about supporting children and making a positive impact every day.
