SEN Teaching Assistant – Wirral
Location: Wirral
Pay: £90-£100 per day
Job Type: Full-time, long-term

The Role
We are recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants to work within specialist schools in the local area.
This Teaching Assistant role involves supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) within an education setting, including:
-
Autism (ASD)
-
ADHD
-
SEMH (social, emotional and mental health needs)
-
Behavioural needs
You will work as a Teaching Assistant on a 1:1 basis or in small groups within the classroom, helping pupils access learning and develop key skills.
Experience Required
We are looking for candidates with experience in:

Working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant (LSA), or within a school
-
Supporting children or young people within an education setting
-
Support Worker, Care Worker or Youth Worker roles
-
Working with special educational needs, autism or behaviour
A background in education or a degree such as psychology is beneficial.
Requirements

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work within a school environment

Confidence supporting behaviour in the classroom

Interest in a long-term role within education
