About the Role
We are looking to appoint dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join the team at an SEN school in Barnsley. - Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assist teachers with delivering adapted and engaging lessons
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
- Support pupils’ social and communication development
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Help maintain a safe and structured learning environment
Requirements
- Essential: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Understanding of ASC, SEMH, or complex needs
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
