Hays Education is urgently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in specialist SEN Resource Provision based at a Primary School in Bradford. The roles are to start in September on a temporary to permanent basis.

– Choose from temporary or long-term supply – many of our roles become permanent placements, and we have five roles currently that could be on a temporary to permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and group support for students with a range of special educational needs
- Assist in delivering Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Support classroom teachers with behaviour management and student engagement
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with SEN professionals, including speech therapists and educational psychologists
- Track and report on student progress and development
Requirements:
- Essential:
Experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting - Optional:
Experience in a healthcare or care worker role – if you have worked with people with SEN, then we want to hear from you! - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, adaptable, and compassionate approach
