We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated SEN Tutor to support a Key Stage 1 student on a 1:1 basis within their home in Ramsgate.
This rewarding role involves delivering personalised academic support tailored to the child's individual learning needs, helping to build both confidence and educational progress in a safe and nurturing environment.
The Role
- Provide engaging and structured 1:1 tuition sessions
- Adapt learning approaches to suit the student's SEN needs
- Create a positive, encouraging, and supportive learning environment
- Build a strong rapport with both the student and family
- Monitor progress and encourage academic development
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Patient, compassionate, and reliable
- Confident delivering personalised learning support
- Able to work independently within a family home
- Passionate about helping children achieve their potential
Requirements
- Previous SEN experience preferred
- Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Teaching, tutoring, or support work experience desirable
